We are going back to China! This time for a conference in Shanghai in October. There were so many photos that I didn’t get to post from our last tour there, here are a few. Thank you to my amazing band, our booking manager Yang Gao, and everyone who helped to make our last China tour such a success. And thank you to Felipe Souza and his amazing team at Specialty Handled Productions for taking us back there! I am infinitely grateful for the inspiration and support of this absolutely brilliant team. Thank you Felipe, Julia Zenteno, Liliana Galicia, Elena Garnes, Juan Paulo Gonzalez, I am in heaven working with you all!
I played this piece with my brother for my dear aunt Jane’s celebration: Salut D’Amour by Edward Elgar. Edward Elgar was a friend of Jane‘s mother, and Jane’s whole life was simply a greeting of love, the name of this piece.
Just being. Simply grateful to be alive. #InfinitelyBlessed
This is one of the most beautiful summers ever! So grateful for this beautiful garden of my dear friend Michael Bakwin, and his wonderful all-white croquet party. What fun!
I was asked to play my violin for a marriage proposal recently, and they requested this song. It was so adorable, it was a wonderful guy proposing to his girlfriend, and she simply said yes immediately. All their friends jumped out from the bushes, and after only a few seconds of the song, I had to jump into a fun celebratory song that he also requested. So I thought I would play it here for you, because you are all perfect!
